Chests

Chests are special resources that can be salvaged in The Foundry to receive different items. Some of them are purchasable in Premium Shop, while others were available during special events.

Loot Chests

Note: Travel Chest is a quest item and can't be salvaged. Therefore, it's not included on this page.

These chests are dropped during special events. There are three basic types of event chests: Wooden, Steel and Gold. They were dropped during Levynlight's First Anniversary event in Aznor's Clearing and Dead Waters by various characters and during Aznor's Third Visit in Aznor's Clearing.

During Aznor's Third Visit, there was also a special chest dropped by a rare character which contained 10 Seeker Silver.

According to developer Kayla F., there are 5 different wooden chests with a global drop rate of 10% each, 5 silver chests with a global drop rate of 3% each, and 5 gold chests with a 1% global drop rate of 1% each. [1]

Wooden Chest

This wooden chest promises to hold some fun goodies!

These are the most common chests and they contain least valuable items. They were randomly dropped by any of the following characters in Aznor's Clearing and Dead Waters during LevynLight's First Anniversary.

They were also dropped by any character in Aznor's Clearing during Aznor's Third Visit.

Each contains one of the following 5 items:

Steel Chest

This steel chest promises to hold some fun goodies!

These chests are less common than the Wooden Chests and they contain more valuable items. They were randomly dropped by any of the characters below in Aznor's Clearing and Dead Waters during LevynLight's First Anniversary.

• Tank Drivers
• Will of Zeruul
• Eye of Zeruul
• Shield of Zeruul
• Blade of Zeruul

They were also dropped by any character in Aznor's Clearing during Aznor's Third Visit.

Each contains one of the following 5 items:

Gold Chest

This gold chest promises to hold some fun goodies!

These chest are the least common. They were randomly dropped by any of the characters below in Aznor's Clearing and Dead Waters during LevynLight's First Anniversary.

• Caravan Urchin
• Great C'thulhu

They were also dropped by any character in Aznor's Clearing during Aznor's Third Visit.

Each contained one of the following 5 items:

Seeker Silver Chest

Open in the foundry for 10 Seeker Silver!

This chest contains 10 Seeker Silver and it can be obtained during certain events as loot from rare characters or by completing some event quests. It is currently the only tradable/giveable loot chest.

• It is dropped by Forester of Eserton (a very rare character) available in Eserton.

• During Aznor's Third Visit, it was dropped by Eventide Serpent. The chest itself was a sure drop, but the encounter rate for Eventide Serpent was only 1% (1/100). Three chests could also be obtained by completing the limited side quest The Packing Challenge in Aznor's Clearing.

• During MythMonster Mash (Halloween 2011 event), it was dropped by Mad Scientist (also 1% encounter rate).
• During 2012 Tri-Faction Summer Games, Silver Drakon has a chance to drop it. One chest each is also rewarded after completing Quick Silver and Metallic Horror! respectively.

• During Fire vs Ice, Scrooge and Ice Phoenix has a rare chance to drop it. Catching a Yeti also yields a Seeker Silver Chest.

Expert Avatar Chests

This chests can be obtained after completing one of the three paths of Chapter 14. They provide Expert Avatars, which are improved versions of the Archer, Mage and Warrior Avatars.

Expert Archer Avatars

This chest contains the Expert Archer Avatar pair and can be opened in the Foundry.

This chest is obtained after completion of the Trudge Through the Mangled Swamp Quest line.

Expert Mage Avatars

This chest contains the Expert Mage Avatar pair and can be opened in the Foundry.

This chest is obtained after completion of the Cross the Lostman's Desert Quest line.

Expert Warrior Avatars

This chest contains the Expert Warrior Avatar pair and can be opened in the Foundry.

This chest is obtained after completion of the Climb the Pallid Peaks Quest line.

Premium Chests

This chests can/could be purchased from the Premium Shop with Seeker Silver and contain different premium items. They can be found under the Resources tab in the inventory and salvaged in the Foundry. They are also tradable and giveable.
